Switzerland's First Wooden Green Bridge

Timbatec and Bänziger Partner AG are awarded the contract to design a green bridge in Rynetel (AG).
When wild animals want to cross the motorway on their usual trails, it becomes dangerous - both for the animals and for the motorists. This is why ASTRA is also building green bridges in addition to maintaining existing sections. For the A1 near Aarau, ASTRA has the engineering consortium WUEF, i.e. the engineering offices Bänziger Partner AG and Timbatec AG, planning one variant each in concrete and wood.
