Höllbachbrücke Plasselbschlund

The shell of the new Höllbach Bridge has been completed. The roadway will have to withstand 40 tons; this much is needed for the heavy timber transporters in the Höllbach area.

The old Höllbach Bridge was destroyed by arson at the beginning of January 2013. To this day, perpetration and motive are unknown. The bridge was built in 1939 and was a symbol for the then ongoing reforestation in the Plasselbschlund. It also formed the language and district border between the Sense and Gruyères districts. This is to be expressed on the new bridge - probably in the form of an inscription.
