Within the framework of WoodWisdomNet+ The Competence Centre Typology & Planning in Architecture (CCTP) of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts HSLU launched the project "leanWOOD - new organisational and process models for refurbishment with industrially manufactured wood element systems" in June 2014 as part of the international research platform WoodWisdomNet+. Timbatec participates as an economic partner.
"leanWOOD" is one of two projects with Swiss participation. It addresses upcoming research questions in innovative timber construction: New process and cooperation models in response to the increasing complexity in building development and refurbishment. This ensures early economic efficiency, quality, and adherence to delivery dates. "leanWOOD" is thus the basis for BIM - Building Integrated Modeling in timber construction. Timbatec's experienced engineers ensure the practical relevance of the results and test the findings and processes on ongoing construction projects.
