Welcome: Three New Interns at Timbatec

During these days three new interns have started their work at Timbatec: Patrick Javet, Iro-Nui Wichman and Joel Hächler. All three are students at the Bern University of Applied Sciences in Biel and will spend one year in one of our offices.

Today Patrick Javet, cand. engineer BSc, in Zurich and Joel Hächler, cand. engineer BSc, have their first day at Timbatec in Bern. Iro-Nui Wichman, cand. technician HF, began his internship in the Zurich office two weeks ago. All three have completed several years of apprenticeship in which they had to work with timber on a daily basis: Wichman and Hächler are trained carpenters, Javet has trained as a cabinetmaker. 

One-year internship program 

After five semesters at the Berne University of Applied Sciences, they will apply what they learned in Biel over the next twelve months at Timbatec. You will complete a one-year internship program and become familiar with all the activities of your future profession. In a year's time they will return to Biel with many new insights and countless experiences to complete their final semester at the BFH and complete their training.
