As part of the Halter AG team, we were able to contribute our expertise – alongside Hotz Partner AG SIA, Wädenswil/Zurich – in the areas of structural engineering for the timber-framed extensions, as well as in building physics, sustainability, SNBS PreCheck and fire safety for the entire site.

The new Wolfacker ‘Esplanade’ school building combines schooling, childcare and leisure activities within a flexible timber structure featuring spacious learning environments, a high quality of stay and sustainable construction.

The Höchweid Care Home is being modernised: an innovative new timber-frame building and a refurbishment are creating additional capacity and optimising operations. Thanks to a high degree of prefabrication in the timber construction, work is being carried out with minimal noise to allow the care home to remain open throughout.

Deillon delley architectes have won the competition for the construction of a school, a double hall and a gymnasium in Romont. The project «Silva» by Atelierpulver Architectes in collaboration with Timbatec is among the finalists.

The extension to the school complex combines architecture, landscape and sustainable timber-concrete construction to form a forward-looking overall concept. Timbatec was involved in the project right from the competition phase and, with its expertise in timber construction, made a significant contribution to its development.

Timbatec brings its expertise to a residential development concept in the Engadin. BGP, Mierta and Kurt Lazzarini Architects, together with Timbatec Timber Construction Engineers Switzerland AG, have won the designer selection process for the Du Lac residential building in St. Moritz.

The planning team comprising Mireya Heredero Architect, Zurich; Balliana Schubert Landscape Architects AG, Zurich; and Timbatec Timber Construction Engineers Switzerland AG, Zurich, has been awarded the design brief for the further development of Badi Muri AG.

For the new construction of the Maria Gugging Kindergarten, an EU-wide, open, single-stage design-build competition was announced, followed by a negotiated procedure for the award of general planning services. Timbatec supported Steinkogler Aigner Architekten ZT GmbH.

Spreitenbach is revitalising its town centre: a new timber bridge for non-motorised traffic connects the village centre with the shopping centre. Together with a new park, this will create a sustainable, green oasis for relaxation and socialising.

The extension of the Luberzen School Complex in Dietikon combines new replacement buildings and extensions to the existing structure using a mix of timber and solid construction methods – ensuring a sustainable, functional and disruption-free expansion of the school facilities.

The refurbishment of the Eschenberg Forestry Depot combines optimised operational processes with sustainable timber construction. Striking round-timber halls enable a high level of in-house production within the forestry operation and allow the forest to be reflected in the built environment.

The new Wiesental school complex serves as a unifying, public link between the town and the River Lorze. Innovative construction methods ensure optimum accessibility, flexibility of use and quality.
