Timber is reliable

Fire Protection
Fire Protection

small line

Wood must meet the same fire protection standards as reinforced concrete and even has advantages: Wood burns predictably and retains its load-bearing capacity for a long time even if the outside is charred. Because timber buildings are safe, high-rise buildings, hospitals and hotels have been allowed to be built in timber construction since 2015.

We are specialists in fire protection and help you to realize your building project.

Our range of services in the field of fire protection:
    • Fire protection concepts
    • Coordination and construction site control
    • Quality assurance QSS1 and QSS2
Six engineers from the Timbatec team are trained as fire protection specialists. Several specialist engineers are also on the Lignum list "Specialists in fire protection in timber construction".
