The project
Since the viewpoint on the Guschachopf can only be reached on foot and is not accessible for vehicles, the lighthouse was delivered in one piece by helicopter. During such transports, the cargo is exposed to strong forces. In order to survive this transport in one piece, a strong construction is required. Timbatec supported SLS Illusion & Construktion GmbH with the static calculation and the construction of the lighthouse.

The construction
The nine-meter high lighthouse consists almost entirely of wooden three-layer panels and is painted with red and white paint on the outside.

The challenge
The planning and bracing for transport and assembly by helicopter were the big sticking points in this project.
