In Neuenkirch, the Federal Roads Office FEDRO is already building the second wildlife bridge with a wooden overpass after the Rynetel wildlife bridge. The wildlife overpass in the canton of Lucerne has a width of 50 meters and a length of around 36 meters.
The Tüfisteg pedestrian and bicycle bridge

The Tüfisteg pedestrian and bicycle bridge in Adliswil is getting on in years. Analyses showed that replacing the bridge would cost almost as much as renovating it. Today, a new bridge leads over the Sihl - with beech wood from the surrounding forests.

Last week, employees of the Office for Land and Buildings (AGG) and the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of Bern visited the Competence and Innovation Center Wood Biel.
