Our start-up TS3 AG exhibits at the Swiss Bau

Swiss Bau is the leading trade fair for the construction and real estate industry in Switzerland. We look forward to your visit to our stand B96 in hall 1.0, where we will show you how to build large-scale wooden structures with TS3.

The construction industry is facing a radical change: With the new TS3 technology, timber construction is conquering large buildings. TS3 enables large areas of wood. This means that wood can replace traditional reinforced concrete in many projects - this is good for the climate.

Breakthrough after ten years of research

Timber Structures 3.0 technology, or TS3 for short, is a process that can generate large areas from wood - without the crossbeams that have been common up to now. These large surfaces can replace reinforced concrete in most areas. They are also suitable for floor slabs (floors, ceilings) in large buildings such as schools, hospitals or administrative buildings.

TS3 glues wooden components on the front side. For decades this was considered impossible. Ten years of research were necessary to find the solution: A process using a two-component polyurethane casting resin. This resin bonds the wooden elements unbreakable. This is the third generation of timber construction - a quantum leap that is causing the construction industry to rethink.

Climate-friendly and fast construction

With TS3 technology, wood can replace reinforced concrete in most areas. This makes sense, because reinforced concrete has one major disadvantage: the production of steel and cement for the reinforced concrete components is energy-intensive and releases large amounts of CO2. In Switzerland, reinforced concrete causes around nine percent of man-made CO2 emissions. Wood, on the other hand, stores CO2 - even when it is installed.

We will present our innovation at stand B96 in hall 1.0.
